Dorsal
Grip

Forearm training, reimagined. A cable-machine attachment that finally makes the extensors easy to load — the muscles every climber neglects until something hurts.

How It Works

Arms out. Wrists up. The extensors do the work.

A nylon strap and a steel D-ring clip the Dorsal Grip onto any standard cable machine — no proprietary hardware, no gym that can’t accommodate it. Reach your arms straight out, then rotate your wrists upward against the cable.

That single position isolates the forearm extensors — the stabilizers that take a beating from climbing and gripping but almost never get trained directly. The result is a pain-free, efficient way to build the half of the forearm most training ignores.

The Dorsal Grip is in late prototyping — the handle geometry and strap interface are settled, and the current round of printed prototypes is being tested under load. Follow along on Instagram to see it reach production.
